ABOUT US

I’m not a big company.
I’m just a regular guy.

I grew up with very little money, but I had the outdoors, and that was enough. Fishing, camping, walking through pine and oak trees, spending time outside where things were simple and free. That’s where I found peace early on, and it never left me.

Most of my life has been blue-collar work. Construction. Long days. Early mornings. Learning things the hard way. I’ve got a family of five, a small Texas town I call home, and a strong belief that honest work still matters. Like a lot of people, I had ideas for years but never acted on them because I thought you needed money to start something, money I didn’t have.

The truth is, Wood & Axe Co. started with about $50 and a decision to try anyway.

I didn’t know what I was doing. Most days, I still don’t. But I’m disciplined enough to keep showing up, learning from mistakes, and pushing forward when things get uncomfortable. Every day is a struggle — and every day is a lesson I’m grateful to learn.

Wood & Axe Co. is my way of building something real. Something rooted in the outdoors, hard work, and the slower moments that shaped me, early mornings, campfires, pine air, worn tools, and quiet reflection. Every candle is hand-poured in America using quality materials and inspired by the places and feelings that made me who I am.

This brand isn’t about perfection.

It’s about progress.

If I can start from nothing and keep building, I believe anyone can. If you want to watch that happen, or be part of the journey, I’d love to have you here. My hope is that Wood & Axe Co. doesn’t just make something you enjoy burning, but something that inspires you to build something of your own too.

This is Wood & Axe Co. Built for the rugged. Crafted for the real.
