About Wood & Axe Co.
Wood & Axe Co. started with a feeling I could never shake.
Some of my strongest memories come from being outside as a kid, summers at the lake, pine trees in the heat, bug spray on your arms, citronella candles burning, dirt on your shoes, and the kind of days that felt like they would never end. Back then, a creek could turn into a world, a road could feel endless, and a simple summer afternoon could become the best adventure of your life.
That feeling stayed with me.
As I got older, I realized I wasn’t really chasing candles. I was chasing memory. I was chasing the smell of the places and moments that made life feel wide open, honest, and real. The porch lights. The campfires. The old roads. The small-town summers. The quiet that only exists when you’re outside and free.
Wood & Axe Co. was born from that longing.
I wanted to create candles that bring people back to something real, not just a scent, but a feeling. A memory. A season. A place. A moment you didn’t realize you missed until it came back to you. The kind of memory that makes you stop for a second and say, “Yeah… I remember this.”
That’s what this brand is about, not trends, not trying to be something fake or forced. Just real American memories, built into scent. Summers at the lake. Pine and smoke. Quiet roads. Back porch evenings. The simple beauty of growing up when the world felt a little more open.
If Wood & Axe Co. feels familiar to you, that’s because it was built from the same kind of memories a lot of us carry around quietly.
I’m glad you’re here
